  The process of registering and participating in this Health and Safety Officer certification is the same as that listed for the Incident Safety Officer. Please read that and proceed accordingly.

  SPECIAL ... What version of the book are we using? We have modified the online adjunct study material to James S Angle 3rd edition. The book is titled Occupational Safety and Health in the Emergency Services.

  What does that mean for those still using the 2nd edition? Very little has changed between the two versions. Virtually nothing was removed and the most significant addition was the inclusion of the National Fallen Firefighters 16 Firefighter Life Safety Initiatives. If you are using the 2nd edition and study the online material will be not be surprised by anything significant.

  FDSOA will make Pro Board Certification available after sucessful preparation and online completion. More to follow.
